Databases are large collections of curated content. These could be articles, audio/video recordings or any other number of media types. Make sure to search through as many related databases as possible to find the best resources for your project or interest.
While we don't provide access to databases focused solely on Philosophy, there are many general and related sources that will contain resources for your research and study needs. Find full text articles from core journals in history, political science, philosophy, mathematics, economics, and other social sciences and humanities. The most recent three years are not included for titles which are still being published.
Covers literature and criticism, history, the visual and performing arts, cultural studies, education, political science, gender studies, etc. Contains current full text scholarly journals which cover these fields and a significant collection of recent scholarly books.
SAGE Journals includes leading international peer-reviewed journals, including high-impact research titles published on behalf of more than 350 scholarly and professional societies. Subject coverage spans business, humanities, social sciences, and science, technology, medicine and many more.

Journals are regularly published (annually, monthly, quarterly) collections of scholarly and creative articles. They are typically peer-reviewed, meaning they are evaluated, critiqued, and edited prior to publication. The Databases in the A-Z list can aid you searching for and locating articles from journals.
Looking for books or other physical media related to your subject? You can either search through our catalog online or browse the stacks on the lower Garden Level. The B through BD range of the Library of Congress Classification (LCC) system covers Philosophy. The following are not the entirety of related subjects contained within the LCC, but rather high-level categories with many sub-categories falling under their umbrellas.
