Donald Davidson Herbarium and Selections of Local Research

The Donald Davidson Herbarium collection dates back to the early 1900s. It holds approximately 10,000 specimens and is used for research purposes. It is named for former Professor Donald Davidson, who retired in 2007. Davidson brought the herbarium into the modern age by digitally archiving the specimens in an online database. Today, the herbarium shares this information with a consortium of other WI herbaria and provides information to the scientific community and the public on the website provided, below.
