Scope & Content Note

Contains Joseph T. Mengel, Jr.’s personal correspondence, dating from early letters home from camp in the 1930s through his schooling and career. The majority of correspondence is written by Mengel to his parents. This portion of the collection also includes journals, daily planners, and Mengel’s stamp collection.
