This series contains literary journals that include Barton Sutter’s poetry, non-fiction, and reviews. Beginning with non-fiction notes in a bird-watching journal in the mid-1960s, the topics of Sutter’s work in these periodicals ranges from family and friends to nature and being in the great outdoors. Most have a regional focus on the Midwest. Also included are many examples of Sutter’s reviews of books by other Midwest authors. These journals date from 1965 to the present.
