Choice Reviews Overview

Choice Reviews is a searchable database containing almost 200,000 reviews of academic titles ranging over the past 28 years. Using Choice Reviews, you can browse books, create lists of books, review monthly card stacks sent by liaisons. 

Choice Reviews is a product of Choice is a publishing unit of the Association of College and Research Libraries, a division of the American Library Association. Choice supports the work and professional development of academic librarians by providing tools and services that help them become more effective advocates for their patrons.

Getting Started with Choice Reviews

To get started using Choice Reviews, this video will who you how to:

  • Create a free account with your university credentials.
  • View book stacks (a group of book reviews sent by your liaison each month).
  • Vote for which books you would like your liaison to purchase. Please indicate in a comment on the book card if you would like the library to purchase a print version or an electronic version of the book.
