Overview

A Global Awareness is a High Impact Practice to be incorporated into a course which focus on themes such as Global-Self Awareness, Perspective Taking, Cultural Diversity, Personal and Social Responsibility, Understanding Global Systems, and/or Applying Knowledge to Contemporary Global Contexts. Even if the course is not fully focused on one of the identified areas, there are many practices that can still be incorporated into the course to bring to Global Awareness practice into a course, such as guest speakers from another country or tribal nation, or Collaborative Online International Learning for example.
