The CLIC is proud to help instructors attain professional development opportunities through sponsorship.

This fall, the CLIC will support instructors attending several regional, national, and international conference opportunities. Please RSVP to CLIC@uwsuper.edu by the date noted below for each opportunity you're interested in.

These are all first-come, first-serve, so email your RSVP early and as soon as possible. In addition, we will limit sponsored participation in these events to two per person.

Conferences

Open Education Conference:

  • Dates: October 17-20, 2022
  • Location: Online
  • CLIC will pay the registration cost of $75 (early bird) or $100 (regular) for a team of six UW-Superior representatives. RSVP to clic@uwsuper.edu before noon on October 18, 2022. Note: you can register during the conference period.

12th Conference on Education & Justice:

  • Dates: October 6-8, 2022
  • Location: Online
  • CLIC will pay the registration cost of $29 (significantly reduced rate) for a team of ten UW-Superior representatives. RSVP to clic@uwsuper.edu before noon on October 4, 2022.

International Society of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (ISSOTL) Annual Conference:

  • Dates: November 2-5, 2022
  • Location: Kelowna, BC, Canada
  • CLIC will pay the registration cost of $600 for the early-bird non membership registration for a team of four UW-Superior representatives. RSVP to clic@uwsuper.edu before noon on September 13, 2022. Note: this deadline could be extended once early-bird registration passes; regular rates & deadlines are not yet posted.

Quality Matters QM Connect Online Conference:

  • Dates: November 6-9, 2022
  • Location: Online only
  • CLIC will pay the registration cost of $100 for the virtual access registration for a team of four UW-Superior representatives. RSVP to clic@uwsuper.edu before noon on October 18, 2022. RSVP to clic@uwsuper.edu before noon on November 3, 2022.

Professional and Organizational Development (POD) Network in Higher Education Annual Conference:

  • Dates: November 16-20, 2022
  • Location: Seattle, WA and Online
  • CLIC will pay the registration cost of:
    • $365 (early bird through October 10th) or $395 (regular) for non-member one-day in-person registration in Seattle for a team of two UW-Superior representatives. RSVP to clic@uwsuper.edu before noon on October 6th for early bird or November 10, 2022 for regular.
    • $515 (early bird through October 10th) or $540 (regular) for non-member online only access registration for a team of two UW-Superior representatives. RSVP to clic@uwsuper.edu before noon on October 6th for early bird or November 10, 2022 for regular.

The Original Lilly Conference on Teaching & Learning:

  • Dates: November 17-19, 2022
  • Location: Oxford, OH
  • CLIC will pay the registration cost of $475 (early bird) or $525 (regular) for registration for a team of four UW-Superior representatives. RSVP to clic@uwsuper.edu before noon on October 13, 2022. Note: this deadline could be extended once early-bird registration passes; regular rates are posted, but regular deadlines are not.
