The Joseph T. Mengel, Jr. Collection contains the personal and professional papers of Dr. Mengel, former professor of Geology at UW-Superior. Includes research materials from Dr. Mengel's long career, as well as extensive family materials including WWI correspondence from Joseph Torbitt Mengel, Sr.
The John W. Beecroft Collection includes correspondence, personal papers, books, and artwork from the papers of John W. Beecroft, a Superior Normal School alumnus.
The Dan Rau Collection is the maritime collection of Captain Dan Rau, former UW-Superior professor and captain of the Lake Superior Research Institute's research vessel, the L.L. Smith, Jr.
