Jim Dan Hill Library's response to COVID-19

Jim Dan Hill Library Physical Services

Due Dates: There are no fines for late books, CDs or DVDs, but if you’d like to renew or check your due dates, use the Login Tab. You can still check out library items (books, CDs, DVDs, etc.), which will be due at the end of the semester.

Returning Items: Please return items to either the drop box in front of the library, or the drop box at the front desk of the library. If you're unable to return items to the physical locations, please email us and we will work with you to find the best method of returning the items.

Requesting items from other campuses: Resource Sharing with other University of Wisconsin libraries is operating, however there may be longer wait times for resources to arrive.

Physical Check Out: Faculty, staff and students, whether local or distant, will have an opportunity to check out items from the library as we offer curbside pickup, mailing resources, and in-person pickup.

A video for how to order a book for curbside pickup can be found here.

To request physical items, contact please contact us at 715-394-8343 or circdesk@uwsuper.edu. Please provide full information about the items you wish to check out, and address to which we are to send the items. The book stacks will be closed, so books will be retrieved as requested by the library staff.

Archives: Email archives@uwsuper.edu for information regarding access to the archives. Electronic archives collections are available.
