Keyword Search Just enter some keywords in the search box to get started.
Exact Words Use quotes around words to search for an exact phrase like "Prince Henry the Navigator."
Boolean Search If you want to get fancy, you can use AND, OR, or NOT.
Search Filters Further refine searches with filtering options (by year published, publisher, ect.)

Book Results

1 Search Link It’s easy to begin a new search from wherever you are in Ebook Central. Look for the Search link in the global navigation menu.
2 Search Box Enter a keyword or phrase in the search box at any time to start a new search.
3 Refine Your Search Use the filtering options in the sidebar to narrow the number of search results by Year Published, Subject, Language, and Author. Just select the box next to one or more options. The results list should automatically refresh to apply any options selected.
4 Search Results The keyword is highlighted in the search results, and there’s a short description to give you a bit more information about the book, including whether it is currently “Available,” “Available on request,” or “In use.” Click on the title to view the book details page or select from a number of options available in the action menu on the right.
5 Full Download Click the Full Download button for any result to be guided through downloading the book to your device. You will be required to login with your UW-Superior username and password (yes, even if you are on campus) and install Adobe Digital Editions.
6 Read Online Click the Read Online button for any result to start reading in your browser.
7 Table of Contents and more Click the Table of Contents button to view the book details page.
8 Add to Bookshelf Click the Add to Bookshelf button to save the book for later. You will be required to login with your UW-Superior username and password (yes, even if you are on campus).

Chapter Results

Chapter Results You may also choose to view Chapter Results rather than Book Results. Chapter Results provide the top chapters from the most relevant books. Relevancy of chapters is based on the number of times the keyword or phrase is found in the chapter. For this reason, bibliographies are often found to be most relevant.
