This event's theme is Centering Students. From the conference website: “From the classroom to department meetings and from learning management systems to addressing mental health and wellbeing, student are the focus of our professional loves. In the past few years, we have increased our attention to centering our teaching practices are the 'whole student,' re-examining assessment strategies, updating curriculum, exploring teaching methods and modalities while increasing flexibility and compassionate responses to student needs.”

Faculty College is a four-day retreat with a campus team that will afford time and space for conversation, reflection, and future thinking about Teaching and Learning with a Social Justice lens. Despite its name, Faculty College is open to instructional staff in addition to faculty per UW System.
