Due to COVID-19 and the precautionary measures in place, our building is closed to the public, and physical ILL and resource sharing items are unavailable. We will make every attempt to fill your request electronically, and we can mail our physical materials or create an appointment for curbside pickup. Please return all materials to the drop box outside the library. Click here for more information.
Request Materials from Other Libraries: Getting Started
Can't find what you need at the Jim Dan Hill Library? Request materials from other libraries.
The Resource Sharing service allows you to request physical books and media from other UW Libraries. It is the fastest and most efficient way to get books not available in the Jim Dan Hill Library. Materials will usually be available for pickup at the Public Services Desk within 2-4 days.
The Interlibrary Loan service allows you to request physical books and media and electronic full-text journal articles from libraries outside the UW System. Materials will usually be available for pickup at the Public Services Desk within 1-2 weeks.
