UW-Superior faculty and instructional staff may recommend materials to be added to the library collection. If you have a small number of titles to recommend for purchasing, you may use request them individually using the library materials purchase request. If you have a larger list of titles, please use the provided Excel spreadsheet. Your suggestions are welcome and will be forwarded to the Collection Development Librarian for consideration. All requests are subject to the Library’s selection policies. Orders will be charged to departmental library materials allocations. Orders that faculty and staff make directly to a publisher may not be honored by the Library. You will be notified when your selections are made available for checkout. After notification is sent, the materials will be held in your name at the Library Public Services desk for one week.
If you have any questions concerning selection policies, publisher information, prices and availability please contact the Collection Development and Materials Management Librarian, Colleen Knettel.
For multiple purchase requests, download the Excel spreadsheet below. Please email the spreadsheet to your library liaison for consideration. If you continue to add to the same spreadsheet over time, be sure to highlight the new purchase recommendations.
If so, the library wants to know! The library purchases two copies of all books published by UW-Superior faculty. One copy is added to the general collection and another is placed in the archives. Use the Suggest a Library Purchase form or contact the Collection Development Librarian, Colleen Knettel, to have the book added to the library.
Please fill in this form to recommend that the JDH Library purchase a book or dvd/streaming video. Your suggestions are welcome!
