Course Reserves

Find, use, and manage course reserves.

Find Course Reserves at the Library

Course Reserves are materials held at the library's Public Services Desk for use by students from specific classes. Materials are separated from the general collection and have restrictions on use.

Ask for the item you need at the library's Public Services Desk, and our staff will retrieve the item and check it out to you. You will need your UW-Superior ID to check out materials. Preference will be given to students currently enrolled in the class that the reserve is from.

The length of loan periods vary, depending on what was decided by the faculty member who placed the item on reserves. Most materials are only able to be checked out for 2-4 hours and are not available for renewal.

Keyword Tips

Search by Course Number Recommended

Include subject prefix + number without a space in between.

Examples: ANTH325, HIST111, MUSI161

Search by Course Title

You may enter the full title of the course you are taking or just an important keyword in the title. Courses may be titled a little differently in our catalog than they are in your syllabus.

Examples: College Writing, Cultures of Mesoamerica, Precalculus

Search by Instructor's Name

You may search by your instructor's first or last name. Please note that some reserves are shared among multiple instructors and so have no instructor names assigned to them.
