Twentieth Century North American Drama
Twentieth Century North American Drama includes more than 500 plays by 85 playwrights. New to this release are many of the preeminent playwrights of the past century, including Sam Shepard, Maxwell Anderson, Elmer Rice, and Robert Sherwood. Pulitzer prize winners from every decade of the century are represented, with plays by Eugene O’Neill, William Saroyan, Paul Green, George Kelly, S. N. Behrman, Thornton Wilder, Marsha Norman, Sidney Kingsley, and August Wilson newly added. In addition, this release includes the work of many important contemporary theatre artists, such as Lee Breuer, Emily Mann, Romulus Linney, Jules Feiffer, and Moisés Kaufman.
