Only occasionally has Wisconsin been featured as the setting for children's and young adult's historical fiction. Those stories that do exist typically feature the adventures of boys and young men, so finding stories with strong female voices can be a real challenge. This site attempts to remedy that situation by identifying and providing information about those books that do have strong female voices. To date, almost thirty stories have been identified, annotated, and given separate web pages.
