This large atlas last published in 1963 has a number of interesting features.
First one will notice that it is published in French and German as well
as English. There is a "Key to Languages and Names" where one will find
the official languages of respective countries (as of 1963) as well as a
pronunciation chart for each language. Additionally there is a geographical
glossary for particular geographic terms. A large index complements the
color maps. Although the information contained in this volume is dated it
does provide a useful historical picture of what the world looked like 40
years ago.
