Map resources on Cyndi's List Freely available on the Internet.
Cyndi's list is a comprehensive web portal to genealogy resources that can be found on the Internet. Produced by Cyndi Howell, this site provides references to Internet resources for maps and geographic information. Intended primarily for genealogy researchers this site has links to fire insurance maps, general geography resources, historical atlases and gazetteers, and libraries, archives, and museums from around the world that focus (at least in part) on geography resources.
Great Lakes Environmental Atlas and Resource Book Freely available on the Internet.
This atlas was produced by the Canadian Government and the United States Environmental Protection Agency. The majority of this site contains a five chapter report on the history and current condition of the Great Lakes area that is managed by the Canada and the United States.
The Dartmouth Atlas of Health Care Freely available on the Internet.
This very large web site is a project of the Center for the Evaluative Clinical Sciences at Dartmouth Medical School. Within this site are several reports in PDF format that contain color maps of the United States. these maps document variations in health care and related topics that are based on geography.

Maps from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Freely available on the Internet.
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has a wide variety of Minnesota Maps, including Recreation, Natural Resource, and Hunting Maps available for printing off of the Internet. In addition, this site also has interactive maps including air photos of the entire state and maps showing the location of trout streams.

This site is hosted by the Roots Web national genealogy project. It contains a nice selection of historical maps including some County, City, Railroad, Fire Insurance, and Natural Resources maps.
