This portion of the collection contains statistical information related to shipping on the Great Lakes. Statistical information dates from the early 1900s to the present. Many resources are focused on the Twin Ports area, but statistical information for other areas of the Great Lakes is included.
Much of the data in the collection is cumulated from various sources, including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Lake Carriers Association, State Weights & Measures Offices, and U.S. Coast Guard.
